Bollywood king Shah Rukh Khan has once again won the title of India’s highest tax-paying actor thanks to his successful films.
According to a Fortune India report, Shah Rukh Khan paid a tax of 92 crore Indian rupees during 2023-24, which put him ahead of other superstars like Salman Khan and Vijay.
According to the report, Tamil industry superstar Vijay secured the second position with a tax of 80 crore rupees, while Bollywood’s brother Salman Khan is at the third position with a payment of 75 crore rupees.
Interestingly, no Indian actress’s name is included in the top 10 of the list. However, Kareena Kapoor made her place in the list by paying a tax of 20 crore rupees.
Shah Rukh’s films released in 2023 have been spectacular at the box office. In January, “Pathan” earned Rs 1,000 crore worldwide, “Jawan” did a business of Rs 1,150 crore, and “Dunki” also did a global business of Rs 400 crore. The success of these films played a major role in Shah Rukh becoming a top taxpayer.
