After becoming the first contestant to win 5 crores in KBC 5 in 2011, he became famous in every household. After this, he was also stopped being invited to functions, and his life took a new turn. In fact, after winning KBC, he received only Rs 3.50 crore after tax deduction. In 2023, Sushil Kumar was elected as a psychology teacher in a government school and now he is not only teaching but also running a tree planting campaign.
