HBL PSL 10 Trophy Unveiled in the Depths of the Arabian Sea – A Historic Moment in Cricket

In a groundbreaking event, the HBL Pakistan Super League (PSL) celebrated its 10th anniversary by unveiling its stunning new trophy, Luminar, beneath the waves of the Arabian Sea. This unique underwater ceremony, held in collaboration with the Pakistan Navy, has taken the cricketing world by storm and symbolizes a decade of excellence, innovation, and sportsmanship in Pakistan’s premier T20 tournament.
The unveiling took place on a grand scale, with a foreign professional diver recovering the gleaming trophy from the ocean’s depths, adding a dramatic flair to the ceremony. The dazzling PSL 10 trophy, weighing 10 kilograms and adorned with over 22,000 precious stones, was then handed over to league officials and stakeholders in a formal presentation.
Former Pakistani cricket stars Moin Khan and Sarfaraz Ahmed graced the event, along with PSL CEO Salman Naseer, PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi, and several team franchise representatives. South African all-rounder discussions about leaving PSL for the IPL added extra buzz to the event.
The Luminar Trophy signifies light and brilliance, representing the league’s shining legacy and the bright future of Pakistani cricket. Mohsin Naqvi, Chairman of PCB, stated, “This ocean unveiling is a testament to the PSL’s commitment to pushing boundaries and celebrating its remarkable journey over the past decade.”
Salman Naseer added, “Just like the ocean’s depth, the PSL has become a deep reservoir of cricketing talent and passion. This unique unveiling ceremony reflects the depth of love and enthusiasm our fans have for the league.”
The HBL PSL 10 is scheduled from April 11 to May 18, with matches to be played in Karachi, Lahore, Multan, and Rawalpindi. The season kicks off with an electrifying match between Islamabad United and Lahore Qalandars at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.
